Why use DIP?

DIP helps you to better understand the practices people engage in by looking at the ‘meaning’, ‘competence’, and ‘material’ elements relevant in different situations and settings in which users interact with certain products and services. DIP also enables you to get insights on why users do what they do, what are their frustrations, motivations and interests. By having an in-depth understanding of the interaction between users and their practices, the DIP Toolkit will help you to propose innovative concepts in the form of new products, services or systems.
